This year Toronto’s Festival of Beer is proud to bring you an East Coast beer experience! Take a trip to our World of Beer Pavilion and savor beer imported from our neighbors to the East. Taste genuine East Coast brewers’ creations and explore the many different styles they have to offer including unique fruit-infused brews and traditional IPA’s.

Start your experience in Canada with New Brunswick’s own Picaroons Traditional Ales’ watermelon-infused and toasted wheat brew, IPA, English-style pale ale and classic stout. Then continue eastward to P.E.I. Brewing Company for an array of ales, which include unique homegrown and organic ingredients such as fresh blueberries and local honey.

Voyage over to Nova Scotia where Propeller Brewing Company’s full-bodied IPA will have feeling like you’re on the East Coast. Not too far down the road, Garrison Brewing will be featured for an assortment of brews including a crystal clear, full-bodied malt flavour Irish Red and an invigorating wheat-ale with a delicate raspberry dry finish.

Once you enjoyed all the Canadian East Coast that you can handle, travel down to the U.S. to find additional delicious East Coast Brews. Maine’s Shipyard Brewing Company will feature their lightly sweetened and earthy, Monkey Fist IPA.

Then enjoy the smooth, roasted malt flavor of Red Bull Beer from Stroh Brewery.

Next are flavors of the big apple with New York’s Brooklyn Brewery. The Brooklyn Lager is amber-gold in colour with floral hop aroma and a firm malt center, perfect for the lager lover! Also, from N.Y., Southern Tier Brewing Company’s IPA balances pine with a hint of sweetness to juxtapose the lingering hops.

For the Boston fans, East Coast brews are defined in the amazing flavors packed into Samuel Adams Boston Lager. A must have on any beer lovers East coast journey.

We’ve saved the most unique for last – New York’s Brewery Ommegang! This brewery’s Game of Thrones special edition brew, inspired by the hit series, embodies aromas of raisins and ripe fruit. Malt and ancho chilies give way to a balanced malty and spicy finish—delicious and deadly.

Beer alone is always great, but paired with mouth-watering lobster rolls from Rock Lobster? You’re in an East coasters heaven!
