Celebrate the End of Winter With a Cold One and 102.1 the Edge.
TORONTO, ON – It’s been a long winter. Let’s have a beer! Building on the success of its perennial sell-out summer event, Toronto’s Festival of Beer is announcing the 2nd Annual Spring Sessions Festival April 24th & 25th at Sherbourne Common outdoor space, at the foot of Lower Sherbourne Street. Spring Sessions will bring together more than 20 breweries, food vendors and live entertainers including critically acclaimed artist Lowell, and 102.1 the Edge’s Next Big Thing artist JJ & The Pillars.
“Spring Sessions is a jump start to Toronto’s Festival of Beer where we can celebrate the winter melt and an amazing array of brews,” says Les Murray from Toronto’s Festival of Beer. “It’s time to get out of our homes and gather with some friends, listen to some great music over a cold one.”
Several breweries will be sampling their beer at Spring Sessions, including: Steam Whistle Brewing, Beau’s All Natural Brewing, Muskoka Brewery, Creemore Springs Brewery, Underdog’s Brewhouse, Thornbury Cider, Brickworks Ciderhouse, Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery, Whitewater Brewing Co., The Publican House Brewery, Mill Street Brewery, Junction Craft Brewing Co, and more.
With some of Toronto’s hottest restaurants preparing food on site, you will be able to pair your favourite brew with offers from: Caplansky’s, Tiny Tom Donuts, The Pie Commission, Smoke’s Poutinerie, Rashers, Chimney Stax Baking Co., Fidel Gastro’s, M.e.n.u., Hogtown Smoke and more.
Tickets for the Spring Sessions of Toronto’s Festival of Beer are on sale now for $30, which includes five sampling tokens and a Commemorative Festival Mug. This is a 19+ event. Tickets for the festival can be purchased online at www.beerfestival.ca/spring

Literally and figuratively, Lowell is a wolf. Her very name stems from the French origin of the word, but her approach to music, creating, and the way she’s embraced both are a testament to her namesake: fearless, determined, and a natural pack leader. Lowell’s hands-on approach to her album and to her performances has allowed for a creative and professional identity rich with individuality, braveness, and imagination. We Loved Her Dearly – her debut album is on Arts & Crafts.
