While Beer takes center stage at TFOB, we also have some great Canadian music on the Bandshell Stage! This year attendees will be treated to the musical talents of Matthew Good, K-OS and The Trews throughout the weekend.
Our kick-off artist for the weekend, K-OS is known for his smash hit ‘Crab in the Bucket.’ K-OS discovered his passion for music at a young age while moving around with his family. He employed music to feel at home and cope with his struggles. K-OS produces, writes and performs all his own lyrics, which carry a positive message. On Friday July 25th at 9:30pm. Toronto born, K-OS and his live band will grace the Bandshell Stage to perform hits from his most recent album, Black on Blonde. The album is a variety between hip-hop (black) and rock (blonde) songs. Special guests, The Planet Smashers, a Montreal Canadian ska punk band will get attendees pumped up before K-OS’ entrance!
The sold out Saturday of the festival will feature the harmonious sounds of the Toronto-based foursome, The Trews. The Trews began their music career with strong rock sounds but discovered that a more relaxed acoustic sound worked for them and their audience. The Trews and Friends Acoustic Jam will bring the tunes to life on The Bandshell stage at 6:30pm. on Saturday July 26th.
Feel good on Sunday July 27th with Matthew Good and his melodious acoustic rock reverberations. Matthew Good is a Canadian musician with a 20-year music career and ten studio albums under his belt. The sounds of Good’s music pair perfectly with a cold brew and good times with friends. Join him and Wide Mouth Mason, a Canadian blues-based rock trio, at 6:30pm. on the Bandshell Stage.
Live entertainment is an essential component of Toronto’s Festival of Beer, that elevates it from an average tasting event to a world-class festival. Join us and celebrate Canadian music and the art of brewing from July 25th to July 27th 2014.
